So a while ago, I went to a chocolate party at Belgische Chocolate! This is yet again thanks to the Butter Project for the invite. I absolutely love food photography and sweet desserts, so this was a win-win for me.
Some of the photos from this blog is taken by my friend, Eros, you should check out his blog!
A little story about Belgische Chocolate, Ramon and Devan (the creative minds behind the this chocolate wonderland) was cruising around with their BMW gang and suddenly thought about opening a shop selling all types of chocolate treats! A few months later, the Belgische Chocolate came to life~
They also explained to us how the name of the store came about. They wanted to introduce top notch quality unadulterated Belgian chocolate: white, milk, and dark. They also intent to bring in ruby chocolate to their store soon!
Here are some of the items which I thought were real cool.
The Chocolate shot
As mentioned in the name, it’s a big shot glass full of chocolate. I personally do not think I can down this cup even though I have a big sweet tooth, but it looks great for someone to NEEDS to satisfy their sweet cravings. I also think it’s great to get as a extra chocolate dipping sauce to share with friends!
Chocolate sushi crepes
A mix of fruits, rice krispies, and chocolate wrapped into a thin layer of crepe, sushi style. I’ve never dreamt of eating chocolate and fruit like this! These little bites and great since you get a bit of tangy bits mixed into sweet chocolate and overall balanced out by the crepes. It takes eating chocolate and fruit to a whole new level!
Forget about sizzling steaks, sizzling brownies are the new thing! A piping hot, fresh out of the oven gooey brownie placed on a hot plate, mixed in with a scoop of ice cream and then a good drizzle of chocolate.
Are these actually noodles? Nah, they’re crepes just shaped into noodles. Take the traditional spaghetti and tomato sauce to a sweeter version with some crepe noodles and chocolate! YUM!
They also have a variety of other food items like:
- Chocolate fondue with fruits
- Pancakes and waffles
Overall, I think this place is definitely a great place to visit if you want a delicious sweet treat or to satisfy your sweet. AND, if you are student, I have good news! Show your student ID and you get 30% off your order!
