Medicube Blue Line Review

This is a overdue post, I’ve got some stuff (actually, quite a lot of stuff) from Medicube and guardian! I’ve been using their products for a good while now so I am able to provide you a full on review.

Medicube is a famous Korean skincare brand dedicated to catering different skin types. They have a line for each skin type. They are now exclusively available at Guardian Malaysia!

I’ve managed to get the opportunity to review some products from their launch. I haven’t been able to try their products but I’ve definitely heard of the brand. So, I was quite excited.

Zero Foam Cleanser

In my opinion, for most of the time, to tell whether a skincare line is good or not is to judge their cleansers. This cleanser retails for RM65.50 (USD 15) This cleanser is a foam type that doesn’t dry out your face. I’m a combo girl on the drier skin and I definitely DO NOT hate this cleanser. It doesn’t feel like it sucks the life out of me and does a good job cleansing my face. To be honest, I think this is suitable for any skin type.

The consistency of this cleanser is like a normal cream that turns into foam after massaging it with water together for a while. There isn’t much foam as you can see from the picture above. It doesn’t leave any weird feeling behind too after washing it off with water.

Triple Hyaluronic Essence

This essence is quite light weight so I like to layer it 2-3 times. It also retails for RM 111.20 (USD 26). It’s a very watery texture that isn’t thick. If anything it just feels like regular water. There is a scent to the essence but it’s fairly light and it smells pretty fresh, it goes away putting it on your face. Does not feel tacky or thick when using on the skin, and it absorbs pretty quickly. After using it, I feel that my skin feels more moisturised and supple and not to mention soft.

Triple Hyaluronic Ampoule

I honestly can’t really differentiate much between the ampoule. The ampoule retails for RM 122.50 (USD 29). But with some research, it seems that an ampoule has more concentrated active ingredients, so it’s usually not for everyday use. More so it will be something you’d reach for when your skin needs extra help. Similarly to the essence, it is light and watery. It absorbs into the skin quickly and it doesn’t feel tacky or anything at all. Both of them I feel like is suitable for all skin types, if you have drier skin, you can also try layering it 2-3 times.

Blue Erasing Cream

This is a low pH moisturiser that is great for sensitive skin. The moisturiser retails for RM 111 (USD 29). The consistency of the product is in between a cream and a gel. It feels lightweight but it does feel slightly tacky after use, but it does not bother me at all. It main ingredient is also hyaluronic acid which is a great moisturising ingredient!

After using the product, my skin is definitely more moisturised, soft, and supple. It isn’t very heavy duty but enough for skin skin to feel good, so I honestly find myself reaching for it. I’ve also been enjoying using moisturisers that come in a tube instead of a tub cause it’s easier to carry around when travelling and I do not need to be a spatula.

Zero Keratin Pad

The Keratin Pad is a travel friendly pad that helps with exfoliating your skin. The pads cost around RM 10 (USD 2.50). I don’t know whether it’s supposed to be like this or something went wrong.

It did remove my dead skin but the weird cream part was a little difficult to spread around my face. Overall, it’s an ok product, but I’m a bit skeptical if the product is suppose to be like that. I would say it’s overall suitable for every skin type.
