I’m MeMe mini review ft. Macqueza

An online Korean cosmetic and skincare shop!

So recently I received some goodies from Macqueza and I’m here to give you a mini review of the I’m Meme products I got as well as the Half Moon Eyes Wash Off Mask.

But before, I go into that, here’s a little more about Macqueza.

Macqueza (pronounced “Mack-kee-za”) is a shop that is based in Singapore that brings you affordable prices for makeup and skincare, especially Korean beauty brands! They also provide free shipping services to South East Asian countries which include Malaysia, of course. So if you’re looking for a good deal, you should check out their social sites! Here’s their website, Facebook, and Instagram. Be sure to give them a follow to keep up with special deals.

Also, there’s this little pouch that came with the products. It’s so adorable!

So these are the three things I got, let’s get into it~

This is in the shade #PS307, Rachel Coral. There is 1.4g of product in total. Unfortunately, I can’t find the exact shade on their page so you can purchase this one called Peony Coral which looks similar here.

The colour is beautiful and I was surprised to see a mirror with the eyeshadow. The packaging is really sleek and clean, I really do like it! It’s also relatively small sized, so it’s really easy to store.

The colour is really pretty, it’s definitely a colour I usually stray more to. The pigmentation is intense, a quick little swipe using your finger or brush is good enough! And it lasts all day (I did use an eyeshadow primer too). I’m happy to say that there is no fallout whatsoever from the eyeshadow!.

The colour is more on the sheer side, so I do enjoy using it as a base or a highlight on the lid, inner corners, and eye bag area. Overall, I actually really like the shadow!

Similarly to the eyeshadow, the packaging of the lipstick is similar- clean and sleek. This is Charlotte which you can purchase here.

It swatches beautifully, as you can see in the picture. This was just one swipe across my arm! I was pretty impressed how full coveraged it is and to be honest, I’ve never tried any I’m Meme products before.

Here it is on my lips. It looks pretty natural when you apply a little bit on your lips and spread it around with your finger. I’d use it as an everyday colour. But, I personally think covering the lips with the lipstick fully is a little too intense for my liking. It looks really bright.

I’d recommend using lip balm before putting on the lipstick because it can be a little too drying if you have dry lips like me. However, it’s nothing too bad to handle so all is good. The longevity is alright as long as you don’t eat, it mostly fades at the middle part of the lip but I don’t really have much complains. There is also a slight scent from the lipstick but it’s barely noticeable when you apply it on.

Overall, it’s a pretty good lipstick for an everyday look!

HALF MOON EYES Wash off mask

Lastly, we got Half Moon Eyes Pink Fruity Wash Off Mask. This quite reminds me of clay masks and it dries and hardens like one too. To be honest, this is the second time I’m using this and I’ve got a good impression of it.

The texture of mask feels really similar to the famous clay mask from Innisfree (which I have yet to review). It applies easily onto the face and in that little pot has more than enough to use for two faces even after applying a generous amount. So, I’d recommend to let someone else use it- whether it be your friend or boyfriend or mother! Last time I had it I tried to keep it in the fridge so I could use it again the next time, and it harden up. So do put the mask to good use.

The mask also smells amazing, you can actually smell the dragon fruit! It didn’t irritate my skin whatsoever and it feels a little cooling when you first put it on.

After using it, my skin did feel a lot softer and smoother. I actually applied it on after cleansing without anything on and my skin felt drier before but after using it I could definitely feel it more hydrated after.

So, have you tried any I’m Meme products? Would you recommend me some? If you haven’t tried, would you like to?

FTC – The product(s) mentioned was sent to me. All opinions and thoughts I made are truthful and based on my personal experiences, none of my opinions is influenced by anything else. I am not paid to write this.

See you in the next one~
