I’m so in love with the packaging of this, it’s really sleek and minimalistic.
The brand Nouveauté is associated with Botanic 20! I have reviewed their whole line, and you can read about their toner first. I’m already a fan of their products because they’re so good in quality and luxurious. So, I would recommend you read the reviews if you missed it before!
To be honest, I have never tried a whitening cream before so I was quite interested. I’m considered already quite fair but not as fair as how Korean people keep their skin. So I was interested to see if this really works! So without further ado, let’s get on with the review!
I couldn’t really find where you could buy them from an original website but this website sells the products as well as Botanic 20’s products.

So, this product smells really similar to Botanic 20’s products. The cream is quite thick but goes on the skin easy. I do pat the cream on and it spreads evenly. It’s a white cream that goes onto your skin white.
After covering your whole face with it (I use it on my neck as well because it’s a little weird not to put it on your neck too). It kind of gives me a white cast like how sunscreen do. When I first had it on, I was a little shocked, I looked like a white pale ghost! I’d look even weirder if I don’t put it on my neck. With that being said, the product feels very lightweight so I don’t feel it at all and it doesn’t feel tacky at all.
I use this product before the rest of my skincare (after toning). Everything goes on it fine and that whiteness still remains. After the next day though, I did feel like my complexion looks brighter and fairer! This stuff actually works and I’m pretty impressed! It would take quite a while for your skin to get more fair, but I did feel like it did get a lot brighter.
Brightening Cream: Face and Body
This product is similar to the one before so I wouldn’t go too much into the details. But the formulas are slightly different as it’s not white nor as thick as the facial one. This one could be used for the face and body.
Because it is more towards body use, there is a total of 100 ml in this which is a pretty big tub! You can purchase this here. The product retails for RM174 (USD 44).
Review
The product is more on the watery side compared to the facial one. This one glides on really well too and feels moisturising more so than the facial one. It also has a nice cooling effect after you apply it on and this one also smells like a bonatic 20 product!
I have noticed some parts of my leg getting a bit fairer, this is no magical product for sure but it works. It will take a while to notice it getting lighter especially if you’re trying to use them on scars. If you have dark armpits, you could also use this on them to lighten them up! Overall, I quite like it, it’s like a moisturising and brightening product!
I’d recommend this one if you don’t mind the gradual lightening/brightening change and you want something to moisturise your skin more which you could use for both body and face. But if you’re looking for something to whitening/brighten your complexion quicker then I would recommend the facial one!
