Essence for that extra care!
Back at it again with another post for Botanic 20. If you’re interested in reading more about the other reviews I have made for them head over to my first post about them where I show you a little bit more about their brand and give you a full review of their toner!
Note: If you haven’t read about what my skin type is, you should read it before reading this post as it will give you a better impression on how it affected my skin and how it can vary from yours!
This retails for RM 174 (USD 41) which is on the pricier side, indeed. You get 50ml of product which is pretty standard for a serum/essence. You can purchase the product here as well as read more about it and their brand.

Just like the other products, this also comes in a nice box. Again, I do like the packaging.
The bottle of this product is definitely smaller than the rest. It’s really easy to store and looks pretty classy. The cap comes off fine and when pumped, just a small dollop of product comes out.
The texture of the product is more on the liquid side. It’s like a nice thin gel that spreads really onto the face. It has a similar plantish extract scent like the rest of their products. I only use one pump of it every time.
After using it I find my skin rehydrated. I love using this when my skin really needs an extra kick. I definitely feel like this product does provide that extra step of hydration back to my skin thus, I do enjoy using it. But with that being said, this product is definitely really pricey. Yes, the quality is definitely top knotch but for me, I think my heart would hurt a little getting it. Definitely a luxury.
The serum is good. I’m not going to lie, with just a small dollop, my skin does get that extra kick for hydration and it is nice. The ingredients list is amazing, but for price point of view, this item is definitely a luxuty! But I’d say it’d be worth it!
What’s your current favourite serum/ essence? I’m currently using this and a Klair’s one but I haven’t used the Klair’s one enough to compare…
