Another review that is long overdue.
Welcome back again. This time around, I’m going to be doing a review on Alive:Lab’s Cotton Candy Balls.
This product is something I have never come across before, but I was really interested in trying it out. They are basically little cotton balls soaked with the product. I’ll let you know more about it below but before that here’s a little bit about the company.
Note: If you haven’t read about what my skin type is, you should read it before reading this post as it will give you a better impression on how it affected my skin and how it can vary from yours!

HOW IT IS USED
After cleansing and toning, use enclosed tweezers to grasp a single, soaked cotton ball and wipe across the face, or on specific problem areas. May be used daily or as-needed.
The packaging comes in a bright orange and white container that is pretty easy to store. It has a really cutesy theme that I like.
The product comes in little cotton balls really soaked in the product. And behind the lid, a pair of mini tongs (if you call them that, I don’t really know what to call them! Haha) or tweezers to pick up the balls with which is great for hygienic purposes.
It’s really easy to grab the balls out but I feel like it’s a little difficult to actually get the tongs out cause they’re really stuck onto the holder real sturdy but that’s alright I guess. I’ve used this daily for a while, every morning right after I get out of bed and brush my teeth. I’d wash face really lazily with just splashing water onto my face, then I’d use the ball. So I’ve kinda scrubbed it on my face gently in circular motions.
It feels okay, a lot of the soaked essence (I’m assuming) would spread of my face really well. I’d also start from the bottom cause the essence to drip down on your face and might get into your eye if you start from the top! (I speak from experience and it wasn’t nice) but that shows how soaked it is.
The only complaint I have is that the balls are really small in size. Although the essence is definitely more than enough to soak your whole face, I feel like having more surface area to work around your face would be essentially better…
Overall, this is a great product, especially for those who travel a lot as this is just so easy to whip out use and toss away. The product is really well packed with essence and have exfoliation properties. After useage, my face does feel more moisturised and I can see on the ball all the icky stuff it has collected on my face. Would recommend to any skintypes!
