There are different types of masks that I have tried.
Welcome back to my blog! I’ve been doing just fine. The week is going to be more exciting and hopefully, I will be able to blog more soon. I’ve been running a little low on ideas on what to blog besides the products I have to blog about… So maybe if you can leave a suggestion? Or if you’re a blogger yourself, maybe we could collaborate? That’ll be fun!
For today, I’m going to be providing you some first impressions on these three sheet masks I have got (not all of them are sheet masks but they come in sheet form, so… 🤷🏻♀️
So let’s go with numbers and go through them one by one.
Note: If you haven’t read about what my skin type is, you should read it before reading this post as it will give you a better impression on how it affected my skin and how it can vary from yours!
1) 3 Black Head Solution Step
So this is a pore sheet that helps pull out those stubborn blackheads. I don’t really have a problem with blackheads but with sebaceous filament, yes. What are they? Well they’re just basically sebum that your skin produces (it’s its job) which could get accessive at time and they pretty much collect on your pores. It could become a darker colour due to dust in the air and just dirty things piling up in the pores. They are usually mistaken for blackheads but everyone has them just some more than others.
Sadly, I have a lot of them on my nose and chin. So much that it looks like a strawberry. ☹️
So there are 3 parts for this mask. The first is a lemony sort of sheet that you leave on your nose to melt away some of the blackheads/ sebaceous filament.
The sheet doesn’t smell too bad, unlike the Holika Holika one I’ve tried that kind of smells like cleaning products. It also has a cooling effect.
Next is the actual sheet that adheres onto your nose and sticks onto those blackheads/filaments. Remember to wet your nose before putting it on. A lot of people forget/ don’t know that you have to do it. It won’t be sticky at all if you don’t wet your nose. There’s usually a kind of herbal medicine smell to the sheet when you first put it on
After about 5-10 minutes, the sheet will feel rock hard and then peel it off. Even for me while a high pain tolerance, it did sting and hurt quite a bit. A lot of filaments did get pulled out though. Soooooo satisfying.
Using this regularly isn’t good as your skin will natural produce more oil for you skin and they will com back eventually. But I feel if you do it once a month, it kind of just give the skin a good deep cleanse from the filaments.
2) Red Ginseng Deed Power Ringer
This second one is a mask, I think mostly for rejuvenation. If you don’t know what Ginseng is, it’s a type of traditional herb usually used in the Chinese culture. It packs a lot of nutrients and such, and if you would like to know more about some of their health benefits and facts, you could just read it up here.
The fit of the mask was lovely and the smell of Ginseng is really prominent. I personally love the smell and taste of Ginseng so I don’t really mind it too much.
The sheet mask was definitely soaked with the Ginseng essence and it moisturised my face really well.
After using my face definitely feels more hydrated and soft. I did enjoy using the mask so overall it was good for me. It didn’t irritate my face whatsoever so I’m just really happy with the outcome of it!
3) Liar Beauty Girl Pore Solution
The last one is another pore mask. But I imagine it just help with dissolve them and provide moisture to the face. So it comes with a cleanser pack, an essence and a sheet mask. So first up I cleansed my face.
The cleanser foamed up pretty well. It provided a lot of bubbles and cleaned my face well. I felt that it wasn’t too drying at first as after washing it off my skin felt smooth and pretty soft. But after I went to do something else before continuing and it started feeling really dry and tight. So I’d recommend to pack on the essence immediately.
The mask has a good fit and is really soaked in the pore solution. I did feel like it was burning my face a little but not too much that I have to remove it. So, I left it on for about 25 minutes.
After using it I felt that some dark spots from sebaceous filament has disappeared and my skin which was really dry before became more moisturised which made me feel satisfied. Overall, I’d say the mask is good despite it giving me a stinging sensation the first 10 minutes of using it but it’s nothing too bad.
