Something that destroys my makeup!
Hello, friends!
Welcome back to my blog. Today’s just going to be a post about my favourite cleanser for The Butterfly Project‘s activity called Blog Detox which I think is fun and could get me the opportunity to read up on other people’s opinion.
To be honest, this is more of a makeup remover than a cleanser… But it still cleanses my face right? So I guess it still counts, haha! I’m writing about this because I’ve actually done a full review of my current favourite cleanser which is the ZEMU O. Pack Cleanser so, it’ll be a little repetitive if I talked about it. But if you want to give it a read, go ahead. 😽
So, this is the All Clean Balm by Heimish. It’s a solid kind of cream, I don’t really know how to explain what it is except that it’s like coconut oil when it’s solid. So basically, that’s how it feels like. The packaging is definitely really pretty.
It also comes with a little spatula and a place to put it! I think this is such a great idea and just makes it really easy for me to take around too.
I really like it because it completely wrecks my makeup. Waterproof mascara? Boom! Gone. Colourpop’s Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick? No problem. This thing could literally remove anything. But the best part? Doesn’t sting my eyes whatsoever. I have tried so many makeup removers or oil based cleansers to use as makeup and I always get my eye stung by them which isn’t nice…
With that being said, there is a downside to this product. If you’re rubbing your eyes a little too rough or maybe opened it halfway when you’re using the product, it makes your vision misty. It doesn’t hurt or what not but, it’s pretty annoying to try to wipe it to get the “mist” away.
You’d also need to double cleanse if you use this product. I don’t mind because I double cleanse anyway but, using water to wash away the product isn’t going to cut it… It’s just going to leave your face feeling kinda oil which feels pretty disgusting.
But that’s about it for my favorite cleanser. What about yours? What’s your favourite cleanser? Let me know in the comment below or just send me the link to a blog post.
See you in the next one~
Cheers,
Sylvia
I have to break this one out again! I stopped because I wasn’t sure what was making my skin breakout. I don’t think it was this. Lovely review!
