Hello, friends!

Welcome back to my blog. This time I’m going to bring you a sheet mask set review. The products are by a brand I have never heard nor tried before- Polatam. The brand is quite new; however, they are getting super popular!

So, I managed to try three types of their sheet mask sets, which are their Water Gel Extra Force line and let’s just into it!

If you want to know more about Polatam, you can visit their official Instagram page right here.

Note: If you haven’t read about what my skin type is, you should read it before reading this post as it will give you a better impression on how it affected my skin and how it can vary from yours!

ABOUT

IMG_0191

Polatam’s flight of sheet masks comes with one mask in each flavor. The masks feature silky, ultra-absorptive Cupro sheets drenched in a gel-like serum packed with Oak Root extract. Made of soft Cupro fiber, these thin and breathable masks adhere closely to the skin and hold 10x the moisturizing essence of a normal cotton sheet mask. Cupro fibers feel just like silk on the skin, elevating the sheet masking experience to new heights. The thick and highly concentrated water gel serum is extracted from 100% Korean oak tree sap, which contains large amounts of natural minerals and niacinamide to nourish and brighten skin.

Water Gel Extra Force Moisturising: Ideal for those looking to deeply hydrate depleted skin. Hyaluronic acid to hydrate, plump, and ‘fill’ the skin with hydration, along with Rosemary and Centella extracts to soothe.

Water Gel Extra Force Brightening: Ideal for those looking to restore luminosity and brightness to dull skin. The addition of skin-brightening Licorice extract helps to fight hyperpigmentation, while Olive Leaf extracts and Ceramides help the skin to get glowing.

Water Gel Extra Force Optimal Repairing: Ideal for those looking to plump and nourish tired skin, and those with anti-aging concerns. Enriched with Adenosine to plump and rebuild the surface layers of the skin, along with Glycerin to soften skin.

The products are also free from Parabens, Synthetic Dyes, and Mineral Oils.

**There’s a total of 25ml per sheet mask, which I feel honestly is a lot! There are 6 sheet masks in total per box. You can purchase it exclusively at Skinphy for people in Malaysia.

REVIEW

  1. Moisturising mask

IMG_0182

This is apparently, the lightest sheet mask type of the three. The fit of the sheet mask is really good and I found that it fits my face really well. I found that this mask does what it says and really deeply provide moisture back to my face. I felt that there were so much essence left in the package which was just amazing, I use cotton pads to soak the rest up to put on my body. Overall, this mask definitely gave a lot of moisture back into my face and it didn’t irritate it at all.

2. Brightening mask

IMG_0183

Similarly to the moisturising mask, this one fits perfectly onto my face as well. There is also a lot of essence in the package as well. I felt that this also provides great moisture, and the sheet mask did not irritate my face as well; however, there is very little brightening effect. I don’t think it’s possible too that a sheet mask could instantly brighten your face, but my skin does look a little bit less dull after using it.

3. Optimal Repairing Mask

IMG_0184

After using this mask, I felt my skin really moisturised as well and my skin does feel plumper which is really nice. This mask is pretty closely related to the moisturising one, but there are a few better and more strong ingredients.

I will overall summarise what I think of the masks in the verdict.

This is how the mask looks on my face!

VERDICT: BUY! (8/10)

Overall, I felt that the masks were definitely really good. There was so much essence left in the packets and they masks were so soaked with them too. The fragrance was overall quite high on the masks, but they do not bother me at all. All of the masks did not irritate my face whatsoever and my face felt really nice after using them. The mask definitely has a great fit as well and provided moisture back into my face leaving it soft and plump! I would definitely repurchase them again, and would recommend for anyone to try!
