HOW IT IS USED
I was provided with some information on how the product is used, although it is quite straight forward, I’ll still leave it here for your use!
Also, instead of washing it off right after I do leave it on for about 10 minutes. I don’t really think there’s much different in effect but I just do it out of habit. Haha.
The packaging of the product is simple but cute, I actually really like the colour and I think it looks good on my shelf. The box of the product is also really cute with lemons on it. It also comes with a spatula which is great for hygienic purposes as well as a while plastic seal at the opening.
The smell of the product is a little strong (not too overpowering) and obviously lemony mixed with a sweet scent. Personally, I really like how it smells! The texture of the mask, on the other hand, is really fine and grainy. Because it is really fine, I feel that this exfoliator is great for people who has sensitive skin as the exfoliation process isn’t as harsh. The mask is also very light on the skin, and if you leave it on like I do, it doesn’t feel like anything to the point where you can actually forget you have it on until you remember that lemony scent on your face!
After washing the mask off, my face feels pretty smooth and soft. It might also feel as if there is a little oily film at first that can feel a little uncomfortable. But trust me, after the water has dried, the skin feels more soft and smooth and hydrated. The oily feeling may be more prominent to those who have oily skin. Although I didn’t feel it on my face (as I am on the drier side), when trying it on my hand, I did notice that slightly oily feeling.
VERDICT: BUY! (7.5/10)
Overall, the product does do what it is said to do except for the skin brightening (I don’t think I’ll ever use it enough to see a change because it is an exfoliator). I think it’s a good sugar mask to try, and the scent is very lovely. So I do feel more relaxed when I have in on my face and am able to smell it for a while. The texture of it is really fine and light so I would recommend it for sensitive skin as it is less harsh. There might be a slightly oily feeling after washing off the mask if your face is on the oilier side, but it goes away when it’s dry.
