Review 📝: Korean Makeup | Peripera Peri’s Ink Set + Future giveaway details!

I could honestly say that these lip and cheek tints are my go-to products for blush and lip tints!

Literally, I have to say again that this product is amazing. They do come in a bigger size for all shades, but I prefer this set of 5 minis as I get more colours. Plus, I personally think it could last you quite a long time. I usually use the Peri’s Inks to make an ombre lip, and you can find me putting it on in almost all my makeup Tutorials which you can watch here. Anyway, let’s get back to the products!

For more details for the giveaway I’ll be hosting very soon! Continue reading!

I got the set for my birthday, but I know the price is around RM80 ish (USD 20), it may not be a lot of Americans, but 80 bucks for me is already on the pricey side.

Peripera’s items are very cute. Most of their products look like little drip bottles, which I think is absolutely adorable. The sizes, however, are quite small. You get 2.5g of product in each bottle. To me personally, I don’t think it’s a problem as there is 5 different colours and 5 bottles. All in all, there is plenty of product to pass around (you don’t even need to use much anyway).

The scent of the lip tints are amazing! They’re my favourite scent out of all the lip tints. I’m not very precise and describing scents, but  they kind of smell like mixed berries and fruits; I would say that it’s quite distinct and I’ve never really smelt anything similar before… But, I really do enjoy the scent!

Besides having great packaging and a nice scent, the lip tints also provide great pigmentation. I usually only use very little on my lips; it’s also great and easy to use for an ombre lip look.

The longevity, I feel, it’s too great. It usually disappears after a few hours, so you would need to reapply it throughout the day. Despite this, it is still a lip tint, and it does stain your lips quite a bit even after it fades. I compared this to their Peri’s Original, and the Peri’s Original has much better longevity, so if you’re looking into better longevity, I would recommend that instead (sadly, they do not have a mini set for that). Even so, I did find that the Peri’s Ink is more moisturising than the Originals, this may probably by the reason why the longevity isn’t as good. The product does tend to make my lips less dry and chapped.

You might be thinking that the colours look similar, but I can tell you it’s not in real life. Well, for the most part. The three main colours orange (most right), red (middle), and pink (most left), is definitely the most obvious change in colour. However, the two colours (2nd and 4th from the left) looks quite similar; you can barely notice much difference. This is because it’s a mixture between pink and red, and orange and red. So, it’s somewhat a middle tone. I can honestly say that those two are the ones I use least, I usually use the main 3 colours. But, it is a good backup to carry around or if you’re out of the other colours, you can use them. Truth be told, I’m not too much of a fan of them.

I almost forgot to show you guys the applicator. It’s a little different from your standard applicator. It’s kinda of flat and rectangular, so it may be a little difficult putting it on. It doesn’t really bother me too much though. One thing I don’t really like is that there will be too much product on the applicator.

TIP: Remove excess product of the sides for a controlled amount of product for a good ombre lip. Build it up slowly so it would look better. If you don’t squeeze off the excess on the applicator, there will be too much product.

Verdict: 8/10
Highest points for packaging as it is super adorable. The applicator is alright as it is a little difficult upon application. The colours are very pigmented, so not a lot of product needs to be used. It is also moisturising, but the longevity is quite weak. As the bottle is small, beware of where you put it as you may lose it easily!

  1. […] This is a lip tint set that comes with 5 different shades: pink, pink+red, red, red+orange, and orange. They smell amazing and are super pigmented. They stain my lips well, and is not drying. It’s also small in size so it’s really easy for me to pop it in my little bag. I overall had a great experience with the product! If you want to know more on what I thought about the products, I’ve also made a review for this one which you can read here. […]
