Beauty Palace Korea’s Opening! ๐ŸŽ‰

I manage to get an invite for an opening of a new Korean beauty products store…

A little update about myself first: I recently got a stye (basically a pimple inside the rims of my eyes), so I was unable to wear makeup and contacts for about a week. And, it was during this event. But, don’t worry. I’m all better now (:

The set up of the opening was pretty small, and there wasn’t a lot of people who attended as this was a small company. The owners, I think, were majority Koreans, and they were really friendly. Throughout this whole event, we were introduced to some new Korean skincare products, one in particular caught my attention. It’s a new brand called Thessak and they’re coming out with products for foot care, which you can’t usually find.

Also, if I’m not mistaken Beauty Palace Korea works with many other famous Korean beauty brands such as SkinFood, IOPE, and much more. If you’re interested to find out I’ll leave their Facebook page rightย here.

Above are some of the products from Thessak,ย I can’t really give you a review because I’ve never used these products. So yea. They also have some roll on perfumes, there were two flavours I particularly liked (I forgot the names but I’m sure one of them is Green Tea).

These tattoos, I actually bought a set for myself for RM20 (USD 5). They were really interesting as it did not require water upon application. So, basically, you stick it on your skin and peel it off and it stays there! The colour of these tattoos also stood on cause when I had it on my skin, it looked like a legit tattoo. The colour of it made it seem as if I did really have a tattoo!

This is a little goodie bag I received after the event. The had a whole lot of Skin Food products which is amazing. They also gave me another sheet of tattoos, so I’m pretty happy with that. Haha. ๐Ÿ˜€

One product that was interesting from the goodie bag is this little perfume from a company called Demeter. Apparently, it’s an American brand and they sell very unusual perfume scents. I’ve looked up their official website (clickย hereย if you’re interested), and I was super intrigued. The one I received is called Laundromat and it smells like freshly washed clothes, and I somehow absolutely love the smell of it. They also sell perfumes with scents such as Baby Powder, Dirt, Pistachio ice cream, and grass. I don’t know they all soundย very oddย but I did enjoy this weird one I have received. I, honestly, would buy more! ๐Ÿ˜น

Yes, I love Demeter Fragrances!!! I got the gin set for a family member one Christmas. I also love the “This is Not a Pipe” fragrance. Smelled just like pipe tobacco (in a good way). I also liked the “Dirt” fragrance. Here’s the website if you don’t have it. http://demeterfragrance.com/ Also check out Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab Fragrances. Absolutely incredible essential oils–the descriptions and names of the oils are so romantic and Victorian. *love* Got the Earth Imp pack recently to try out and it’s so much fun! https://blackphoenixalchemylab.com/
